Medial Epicanthoplasty VS Upper Epicanthoplasty
Medial Epicanthoplasty
Medial Epicanthoplasty is needed when the distance between both eyes are far or to remove the mongolian fold which makes the eyes look dull and to enlarge them
Upper Epicanthoplasty
Upper Epicanthoplasty is to lift the skin that is covering the eye corner 45º upwards for sharp eyes, or if the mongolian fold is too severe

It is to cut the eye ends to widen and correct the dull looking eyes and those that are not wide enough for sleek eyes
Lower Epicanthoplasty
(Lower Epicanthoplasty is for lengthening the eyes pulling the eye ends vertically)
It is to lower a bit of the eye ends to correct the slanted eyes or make the strong impression be soft by enlarging the eyes at the same time
TIP! It is more effective to enlarge the eyes or changing one’s impression when both procedures are done at the same time instead of just lateral epicanthoplasty
