Attending anesthesiologist : Dr. Shingyun
A safety system equipped with state-of-the-art technology
-
horough examinations for safe anesthesia
A comprehensive examination, including tests for diabetes, hypertension, allergies, tuberculosis, blood tests, and other adult diseases, as well as specialized tests such as electrocardiograms and chest X-rays, determines the necessity of surgery.
-
1:1 dedicated anesthesia care provided
The anesthesiologist is responsible for continuously monitoring the patient's condition from the preoperative area through the surgery and into the post-anesthesia care unit.
-
Anesthesiologist specializing in pain medicine on duty
An anesthesiologist monitoring patients' conditions meticulously from pre-surgery to post-surgery recovery.
-
Continuous anesthesia drug infusion pumps with oxygen and nitrogen gas supply systems available
The continuous anesthesia drug infusion pump ensures safe anesthesia delivery during surgery and facilitates normal breathing. Additionally, oxygen and nitrogen supply systems are positioned in the post-surgery recovery room and patient wards, enabling comfortable and smooth anesthesia recovery.
GH Healthcare’s University Hospital-Level Medical Anesthesia Equipment
At JAYJUN Plastic Surgery, we possess GE Healthcare's university hospital-grade anesthesia equipment to facilitate rapid patient recovery.
General Inhalation Anesthesia Machine
At JAYJUN Plastic Surgery, we have three types of custom anesthesia equipment tailored to different types of surgeries.
-
Aespire view
-
Aespire 7100
-
Carestation 30
The general anesthesia equipment maintains a painless state by appropriately adjusting and mixing inhalation anesthetics, oxygen, and nitrous oxide. It ensures smooth respiration and circulation during induction anesthesia as well as local anesthesia, and incorporates various monitoring systems to allow real-time assessment of the patient's condition during surgery, enabling intensive patient management.
Patient monitoring device
-
B20
The patient monitoring device is a system that monitors various physiological parameters such as electrocardiography (ECG), respiratory rate, body temperature, oxygen saturation, non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), invasive blood pressure (IBP), and end-tidal carbon dioxide (ETCO2).
-
CARESCAPE V100
The portable monitor with built-in rechargeable battery allows for mobility. It detects various physiological signals such as oxygen saturation, mean arterial pressure (MAP), systolic and diastolic pressures, and heart rate. After detecting these signals, it analyzes the trend of the patient's condition, displays the result data numerically, prints necessary information if required, and records data using the built-in recording device. This device continuously diagnoses and monitors the patient's safety status.
-
Dash 4000
The continuous anesthesia patient monitoring device monitors the patient's temperature, heart rate, respiration, and blood pressure continuously in places like the operating room and recovery room. In case of any abnormalities, it alerts the physician or nurse through alarm functions, enabling prompt and appropriate actions to be taken.
A safety system at the level of a university hospital
In preparation for emergencies, we have equipped ourselves with automated external defibrillators, uninterruptible power supply systems, and emergency medical equipment and systems at the level of university hospitals.
-
Centralized Monitoring System
During surgery, the anesthesiologist specializing in pain medicine monitors the condition of all patients in real-time, conducting continuous checks and assessments not only in the operating room but also in the recovery room, ensuring dual or triple monitoring and coordination between the two areas.
-
Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Equipped with defibrillators for rapid response in emergencies.
-
UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) self-powering system
Ensuring safe completion of surgeries by providing power backup against sudden power outages.
-
Germicidal Disinfection System
To prevent secondary infections, all equipment and instruments undergo rigorous cleaning and disinfection processes prior to use.
-
Gas Leak Alert System
Implementing a medical-grade gas leak alert system for patient safety.
-
Warming Device
During extended surgeries, there's a risk of hypothermia, where body temperature drops below normal levels. Our warming devices help prevent hypothermia and ensure a comfortable recovery.
-
Malignant Hyperthermia Treatment
We maintain a stock of dantrolene medication to promptly address the rare occurrence of malignant hyperthermia during general anesthesia surgeries.
-
Continuous Anesthesia Drug Infusion Pump and Oxygen/Nitrogen Gas Supply System
The continuous anesthesia drug infusion pump ensures safe anesthesia and normal respiration during surgery. Additionally, oxygen and nitrogen supply systems are provided in the recovery room and patient rooms to facilitate comfortable anesthesia recovery.
-
Airway Securing Device
This single-use device allows for smooth and trauma-free intubation during anesthesia. At JAYJUN, we prioritize patient hygiene by disposing of the device after one use.
Comprehensive Hygiene and Sterilization
At JAYJUN Plastic Surgery, the health and safety of our patients are our top priorities. Our medical staff and entire team adhere to strict personal hygiene standards and utilize thorough sterilization procedures for all medical instruments and surgical tools.
